Wireworks began life in 1988. Based out of a small workshop off London’s Edgware Road it’s first customer was The Conran Shop. Wireworks rapidly grew winning awards ranging from Best New Product at Top Drawer to inclusion in the RIBA Stirling prize-winning ‘Home” design. They design some of the best in contemporary kitchen and bath designs; all with a modern contemporary feel.
The gently contoured base blends elegantly with the random
structured holes in a lattice of characterful simplicity. No obvious
arrangement to the placing of the drilled perforations creates ambiguity
and establishes a dynamic to excite the eye. Lathe turned from solid
oak, each bowl is an individual masterpiece.
The best designs fulfil a need. Damien, wireworks new range of 'living' side tables do exactly that. The
top is cleverly fixed into the base but is also removable and can
become a useful tray. An ideal occasional table next to a sofa or as
bedside table, Damien fits a niche.
Made from solid oak and sealed with a smooth water-resistant lacquer.
