Born in 1920 in Slovenia , Niko Kralj, as become one of the most renown legends of timeless and minimalistic design. His passion for design, the great interest in acquiring new knowledge, his forward-thinking inventions and an eye for useful, but stylish solutions put him on a pedestal on the list of the great furniture designers. He becames without doubt one of the most important designers of the last century. 1953 is the year of the first Rex designs were brought to public light. On top of Kralj projects, is the Mosquito Chair , which got its name because of thin tapering legs and mosquito wings shaped seating surface.
